Questions

Do you translate stamps, seals and handwritten notes?

Yes. Everything readable is translated and placed where it appears on the original, including stamps, seals and margin notes.

Can you spell names the way they appear on my passport?

Yes. Send us a copy of the passport or ID page and we will use that spelling, so your documents match.

Will my translation be accepted?

Each agency sets its own rules, and the receiving office decides whether to accept a document. Every translation carries a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy. Bring the agency's instructions and we follow them. If a translation is refused because of our work, we fix and re-certify it free.

Do I need it notarized?

Usually not. Notarization confirms who signed the certificate; it does not check the translation. Ask us before paying for it. Notarization by a commissioned New York notary is +$20.
